— The house
The Hundsreitlehen was never planned on a drawing board. Our family has lived on this farm since 1906; the main house was added around 1970, followed later by the Kneipp pool, sauna, Sonnenalm and barefoot trail – step by step, always in keeping with the place.
Today we – Angelika and Markus Selbertinger – run the house as the second generation, and Hannah and Andreas have long been part of it, heart and soul. What matters to us: time for our guests, honest cooking and a place where you can breathe freely again.

— Cuisine
Mornings begin with a gourmet breakfast buffet – rolls from the village baker, dairy products from the Berchtesgadener Land dairy, homemade jams and Dallmayr coffee.
In the evening, Markus Selbertinger cooks a four-course menu that changes daily, served on our panoramic terrace when the weather is fine. Our restaurant is open exclusively to hotel guests.

By electric boat to St. Bartholomä, then on foot to Lake Obersee.
